Life Transitions
Life doesn't always unfold the way we planned.
Whether you're navigating a career change, moving to a new city, ending a relationship, becoming a parent, struggling with infertility, grieving a loss, or simply feeling like you've outgrown the life you've built, transitions can bring uncertainty, overwhelm, and anxiety—even when they're "good" changes.
Many people find themselves feeling:
Overwhelmed by uncertainty or fear of making the wrong decision
Stuck between who they were and who they're becoming
Disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or their sense of purpose
Anxious, overthinking every possible outcome
Grieving a version of life they expected or hoped for
Burned out from trying to hold everything together
Unsure how to move forward with confidence
You don't have to figure it all out alone.
Together, we'll create space to slow down, make sense of what's happening beneath the surface, and build trust in yourself again. Rather than simply managing symptoms, we'll work to understand the patterns, beliefs, and protective strategies that may be keeping you feeling stuck.
My Approach
Every transition is different, so therapy is tailored to your unique experiences and goals. Depending on your needs, we may incorporate:
EMDR Therapy to help process painful experiences, reduce the emotional intensity of past events, and lessen anxiety that's keeping you feeling stuck.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) to better understand the different parts of yourself—like the perfectionist, overthinker, people-pleaser, or inner critic—so they no longer have to carry the weight alone.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to strengthen communication, navigate relationship changes, and create more secure, supportive connections with the people who matter most.
Mindfulness and Somatic Strategies to help regulate your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and develop practical tools for managing stress, uncertainty, and overwhelm.
You Don't Have to Have It All Figured Out
Transitions often ask us to let go of what feels familiar before we can fully step into what's next. Therapy can help you move through that in-between space with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion—so you can stop simply surviving change and begin creating a life that feels more aligned with who you are becoming.
